Catskill Mountains Junior Golf..Est 2012
Catskill Mountains Junior Golf, Inc (CMJG), was established in November 2012. A Board of Directors was formed very early on.
The Board consists of Five members. The current Board consists of 3 men and 2 women. The main purpose of the Board is to introduce young people to the game of golf. The first year the Junior Program netted 44 youngsters while using two golf course facilities. The age requirements are 5-17.
The By Laws and a Mission Statement were authored. Then it was off to the NY State Offices in Albany, NY to reserve our name. Catskill Mountains Junior Golf was available – we were assigned an EIN (Employee Identification #) by the IRS.
On April 6, 2014 CMJG was approved as a Charity. That means that CMJG qualified for Tax Exempt Status as a 'Non-Profit' according to Section 501(c)(3) of the IRS Tax Code.
All donations to CMJG qualify as a legitimate Tax Credit for the donor.
